Our Arsenal fans here in the Transfer Tavern simply cannot wait for this season to end so they can be put out of their misery once again.
You can certainly understand their reasons for feeling this way, too, with the wheels once again coming off in dramatic and combustive fashion in recent weeks.
All but out of the Champions League, out of the Premier League title race and up against it in the challenge for the top four, the Gunners really haven’t got much to sing about right now.
And with Alexis Sanchez getting dropped for the game against Liverpool – which the club lost 3-1 – plenty have had something to say over the Chilean’s future.
Indeed, one such man is Arsenal legend Ian Wright who, speaking to 606 on BBC Radio 5 Live (via BBC Sport,) said that he would leave the Emirates if he was in the Chilean’s shoes:

Certainly, then, words like this have to be taken seriously with a man who obviously has affection for Arsenal suggesting that their best player should consider moving on.
