Many Sunderland fans criticised the performance of Leon Dajaku in their 1-0 loss to Oldham Athletic in the Papa John's Trophy on Wednesday night.
A second half goal from Harry Vaughan for the visitors was enough to eliminate a fairly youthful Black Cats team from the competition, ending their hopes of retaining the trophy, and while some of the youngsters put in a decent effort, several supporters were not happy with Dajaku's performance.
The man on loan from Union Berlin lost out on five of his duels and also failed to record a single shot on goal, clearance, interception, tackle, key pass, accurate cross or long ball. He was guilty of losing possession on 11 separate occasions in the match, the joint-fifth most out of any of his teammates (SofaScore).

"Dajaku got to be up there with one of the worst players we’ve ever had? And that’s saying something because we’ve had a lot…"
"Dajaku has been awful so far"
