Many Sunderland fans were left to slam the display of Aiden McGeady despite their 1-0 away win over Ipswich Town in League One on Tuesday evening.
Lee Johnson’s team ended up winning the game thanks to another goal from Charlie Wyke after Kayden Jackson was sent off inside the first 10 minutes for the hosts, giving them all three points as they look to properly kickstart their promotion push from the EFL League One up to the Championship for the 2021/22 term.

However, while there were some very good performances all round for the Stadium of Light faithful, the performance of McGeady really flattered to deceive.
The Republic of Ireland international lost out on 86% of his duels in the game (6/7), and also failed to record a single shot on target, successful dribble, accurate cross or long ball (Sofascore).
He also lost possession of the ball no fewer than 13 times in the match, the joint-fourth highest out of any of his teammates, as the 34-year-old earned a quite measly 6.5 overall rating on Sofascore, the lowest out of any of the Black Cats to have started the clash.
