Everton fans here in the Tavern are hoping their side can improve on the weekend’s victory, as Stoke City are up next in the Premier League for the Blues.
The Toffees have had a season to forget in many respects after facing the possibility of relegation in early parts of the campaign, but appointing Sam Allardyce has brought a lot of positive change to Goodison Park as they now sit comfortably in ninth position. Indeed, there’s still lots of improvements to be made by Everton after lacking consistency in weeks gone by, as the former England boss will have his sights set on Europe next season.
However, the 63-year-old will need to conduct a major overhaul in the summer months to challenge at the highest level, with a number of first-team players failing to deliver for the Toffees in the current campaign. So, Everton will need to welcome a couple of proven stars to Goodison Park in the summer months, with the club’s majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri having a huge say in the transfer window plans.
Therefore, here’s a look at TWO stars that Allardyce should urge Moshiri to bring to the club in the summer months…
Marcelo Brozovic

Marcelo Brozovic currently plays his football for Italian giants Inter Milan, and has established himself as one of the most exciting talents in the Serie A after an impressive second season at the San Siro.
Indeed, the midfielder was dubbed to be the ‘Croatian Xavi’ a few years back and has proved his worth ever since, having produced nine goals and eight assists since moving to Italy.
Therefore, the Toffees should make a move for the midfielder in the summer months as Ross Barkley’s replacement, with goals and assists ever-present in the 25-year-old’s game.
Jamie Vardy

Jamie Vardy is arguably one of the most prolific strikers in the English top-flight, after breaking Ruud van Nistelrooy’s record for goals in consecutive Premier League games during Leicester City’s title winning campaign.
Although the Englishman has struggled to replicate that kind of magic so far this season, he still has 16 goals to his name in what’s been a mixed campaign for the Foxes.
Therefore, with January signing Cenk Tosun only just beginning to find his feet in the Premier League, adding Jamie Vardy to their ranks in the summer would see their goalscoring problems become a thing of the past.
