The former AFC Ajax midfielder was one of the summer signings made by Ronald Koeman during his time at the club, but has turned out to be a complete waste of money after delivering many poor performances thus far.
Indeed, Saturday’s victory over Brighton was the Dutchman’s first Premier League appearance since back in September, after failing to produce performances worthy of a place in the first-team squad.
Therefore, the 25-year-old will surely be heading for the exits at the end of the season, after failing to earn a place in the first-team thus far.
Oumar Niasse
The former Hull City striker has been used as a rotation player so far this season, after struggling to nail down a permanent starting place in the side.
Indeed, Oumar Niasse has been one of Everton’s most effective strikers in the current campaign, but inconsistencies have let the 27-year-old down as he often follows up a magnificent performance with a poor one.
Therefore, with Cenk Tosun now finding his feet in the Premier League after netting again at the weekend, surely the Toffees will look to offload the Senegalese international for a proven striker in the summer.
