Indeed, with promotion to the English top-flight now only looking achievable via the play-offs, Villa could rue their missed opportunities in recent games. Indeed, the 22-year-old could arguably become one of the most exciting players in the Premier League, but hasn’t quite managed to make the step up with his beloved Villa thus far.
Therefore, after producing performances of the highest level in the current campaign, the Englishman would be sure to leave Villa Park in the summer months if they fail to secure promotion.
John Terry
John Terry has single-handedly kept the Villains in a number of Championship fixtures so far this season, as his experience and class has helped the club out massively at the most desperate of times.
Indeed, there’s no doubt that the former Chelsea legend could still be one of the best defenders in the Premier League, as a drop down to the Championship shocked many of our local residents.
Therefore, the only thing that could possibly keep the Englishman at the club in the summer months would be promotion to the top-flight, as another season in a lower division wouldn’t be an attractive proposition.
