Swansea eye move for Jordan Jones

Swansea City will be desperate to pick up where they left off after the international break as they secured all three points against Bolton Wanderers last time out.

The Swans have been a force to be reckoned with under Graham Potter and are currently on just outside the play-off places, so they’re still very much in the hunt for promotion to the Premier League. And, it appears as if the club are eyeing a potential addition, as according to the Daily Mail, Swansea are eyeing a swoop for Jordan Jones.

Swansea City are showing interest in Northern Ireland winger Jordan Jones ahead of a potential January move.

Jones is out of contract in the summer with his Scottish Premiership club Kilmarnock and free to talk to foreign clubs from the New Year.

Indeed, the 24-year-old will figure against Austria on Sunday and is expected to be watched by scouts from Swansea while Aston Villa have also been monitoring his progress.

THE VERDICT:

Jordan Jones has plenty of potential and has already shown his quality on the international stage and in domestic competitions for Kilmarnock, so it comes as no surprise that the Swans are interested.

However, with Aston Villa also set to keep tabs on the Northern Ireland international, it remains to be seen as to who will come out on top in the race.
