Our Leeds fans here in the Transfer Tavern really are buzzing at the moment after yesterday evening saw the news break that they’d bought Elland Road back.
Indeed, it’s been well over a decade since the ground was sold as the club fell into financial crisis but they have at last got their old home back under their ownership – a huge step forward for the club.
Indeed, it also signifies the start of a potentially exciting new era under Andrea Radrizzani with him certainly staying good to his word so far.
Certainly, getting the ground back was one of his early ambitions after buying out Massimo Cellino and so this ability to get stuff done quickly is a real breath of fresh air for Whites fans.
For sure, then, fans were losing it yesterday when the club announced the news on Twitter so here is the best of the reaction:
