Defender Chris Smalling is the latest man to be linked with a move away from the Premier League giants and fans on social media seemed to be happy with the suggestions of an outgoing deal, as they seek defensive reinforcements in the summer ahead.
Should the England international leave, United would have a hole in their side to fill but it’s clear many believe Smalling is past his best.
