‘Thanks for the memories’: Chelsea fans react to confirmation of Oscar’s China move

The Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern have mixed opinions on this deal…

They knew it was coming, but confirmation has finally arrived. Foll0wing the re-opening of the January transfer window, Chelsea midfielder Oscar is set for a move to China.

In the 4 years that the Brazilian spent in London, he achieved so much: most notably the Premier League, and so it is undoubtedly disappointing for the Blues fans in the Transfer Tavern to see him leave.

However, the fee being passed around for the deal is £60 million – which is simply too good to refuse, so the Blues had little choice but to accept the deal.

The Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern have spent the morning toasting Oscar’s Chelsea career and the money that his sale has generated – and the Blues online have had a very similar reaction online: one of thankfulness.

With that said, here are 6 of the best Chelsea fan reactions to confirmation of Oscar’s China move…
