City fans here in the Tavern have been full of praise for Pep Guardiola and his side, as the unbeaten streak continues to roll on.
The Manchester Derby has always been a feisty encounter, with the City of Manchester’s pride at stake, both sides will do anything to bring home the glory.
This week’s Super Sunday saw City face an away trip to Old Trafford to entertain their bitter rivals Manchester United, in an eagerly anticipated Derby day that had the future of the title on the line, with Pep and his men taking the spoils in a 2-1 win that saw them extend their lead to 11 points at the top of the tree.
City’s wizard David Silva played yet another huge part in the City win, as he scored the Derby day opener in what was a world-class performance from the Spanish attacker, something that we’ve all become accustomed to this season.
Of course, with any given Derby win the player’s don’t hesitate in making their feelings felt on social media, as David Silva took to Twitter to show his delight after outclassing Manchester United.
