‘The next Gareth Bale’ - Man Utd fans urge Mourinho to land £22.5m-rated player

The Man Utd fans in the Transfer Tavern hope to see a few changes at Old Trafford this summer. Though there is still a decent way to go until the end of the season, most of the fans in the pub are already looking ahead to next term.

Even with the FA Cup final next month, it’s fair to say that most will still be disappointed even if they win the prize. For a club like Man Utd, the expectations are always far loftier than a mere domestic cup.

Next season, then, things need to improve, and Jose Mourinho will likely be keen to spend big to ensure that his side goes to the next level.

One player that, according to ESPN, they are interested in is Fulham star Ryan Sessegnon. The young Englishman has been sensational in the Championship this term, and he’s clearly on a path to stardom.

Man Utd, then, as a purveyor of incredible young talent, would be a natural fit for him if he were to move clubs.

That’s certainly what the Man Utd fans over on Twitter seem to think, anyway, with supporters taking to the platform to wax lyrical about the defender-turned-winger.

Fans are clearly very impressed by him, and one is even comparing him to Welsh wizard Gareth Bale.
