These 2 Chelsea players aren’t good enough, Conte simply must drop them against Man Utd – agreed?

The Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern still aren’t over their side’s disappointing defeat against Roma. Though the Blues were expected to engage in a competitive clash with the Italian side, it was anything but – with Roma dominating throughout the 90 minutes. 3-0 was the end result, and in truth, it could have been a whole lot worse for the Blues.

Against Man Utd this weekend, then, some big changes will be needed. The Red Devils possess some of Europe’s most talented players, and if Chelsea make any more mistakes, they will be made to pay just as they were against Roma.

Conte will no doubt have had an eye on the weekend clash against Roma, and anyone that wasn’t up to par during the game could very well face the chop this weekend. Big personnel changes need to happen, and Conte hasn’t been shy to make them in the past.

With that said, these 2 players aren’t good enough, Conte simply must drop them against Man Utd – agreed?

 Antonio Rudiger

Antonio Rudiger has made a decent start to life at Chelsea, and fans have been impressed with his fantastic passing range.

However, he made yet another mistake against Roma – and Conte’s cant stand for that.

He still looks shaky at the back, and against Man Utd, the boss needs to take things back to basics. He just hasn’t done enough to warrant his inclusion this weekend.

Gary Cahill will likely keep his place, whilst Andreas Christensen could also get a chance.

 Cesc Fabregas

Cesc Fabregas has been a great player for Chelsea since he moved to Stamford Bridge, but you have to wonder why Antonio Conte keeps persisting with him in the middle of the park.

At present, he can’t defend, he can’t tackle, and he’s even struggling to pass – with his connection with Alvaro Morata clearly not as potent as it was with Diego Costa.

He has been at fault for a few weeks now, and Romelu Lukaku will punish him if he makes another mistake this weekend. He isn’t worth the risk.
