Our local Manchester City fans here in the Transfer Tavern can’t believe how swift Pep Guardiola has been in making changes to their side in the summer.
Of course, they expected some, but there really has been some drastic switches at the Etihad already.
We’ve seen the club adopt new formations and tactics but the most radical changes to have happened have been involving the playing staff.
The likes of Joe Hart, Samir Nasri and Eliaquim Mangala were all quickly shipped out on loan without getting much chance to impress their new boss and we’ve also see a whole host of new players come in.
Aside from that, we’ve also seen some players get absolutely frozen out under the former Barcelona manager and that cause real issues in the near future if it isn’t resolved quickly.
Our landlord agrees too and reckons these TWO City players need to be shown a bit more love by Pep…
Yaya Toure

Toure has been completely shunned by Guardiola this season and whilst the Ivorian’s agent hasn’t done him any favours, that isn’t solely the midfielder’s fault.
Whether or not he plays for City again remains to be seen, but you’re not telling us he couldn’t do a job.
He may not be who he once was but he’s certainly still got some talent to offer.
Fabian Delph

Delph is seeing his career slip by and Pep either needs to give him a chance or let him go for the sake of his career.
The former Aston Villa man has the energy and pace to actually fit into Guardiola’s playing style whilst the passing side of it can obviously worked on.
Of course, he’s no Ilkay Gundogan but being completely left out is a bit harsh and it’s time Pep decided what he wants to do.
