These 2 Man City wonderkids are surely destined to flop

Manchester City are now able to buy the best young players in the world thanks to their incredible resources.

Indeed, our City fans here in the Transfer Tavern cannot believe the amount of brilliant young talent they now have available to them with it being so different to where they used to be before their new finances.

It can be detrimental, though. With the stockpiling of young players comes the increased chance of some promising talents falling by the wayside and that is certainly possible at the Etihad club.

Whilst they’ve got the likes of Pablo Maffeo and Kelechi Iheanacho seemingly set to be successes, they’ve also got a fair few that seem set to not make it.

Our landlord has been looking at who could fall through the cracks, then, and thinks these won’t make it…

Angus Gunn

Angus Gunndddd

Gunn is the son of legend Brian Gunn – but he may find it hard to emulate his father at Manchester City.

The likes of Claudio Bravo and Willy Caballero are in front of him in the pecking order right now, whilst Joe Hart is also going to be ahead of him once he returns from his loan at Torino.

Gunn, then, if he wants to utilise his potential needs to move away from the Premier League side.

Marlos Moreno

Marlos Moreno is currently on loan with Deportivo in La Liga but has not scored in his eight appearances when he is meant to be a striker.

That kind of record suggests he isn’t going to make it for City any time soon with the strikers they have at their disposal.

The likes of Sergio Aguero and Kelechi Iheanacho are far better than Moreno and so he isn’t going to cut it.
