Manchester United fans here in the Tavern are excited for the remainder of the current Premier League season, as they look like securing second-place and a Champions League spot. 

The Red Devils appear to have lost out to Manchester City in the race for the title, as the Citizens have managed to mount an unassailable lead at the top of the table. Although, Jose Mourinho will have his sights set firmly on snatching the trophy away from the Etihad in the next campaign if they manage to secure it, with the summer transfer window possibly playing a huge part in this.

Indeed, the Portuguese manager has been sure to give a couple of youngsters a chance in the current campaign, but there’s still a number of wonderkids waiting in the wings for their opportunity. Although, with the Red Devils possibly looking to get revenge on their bitter Manchester rivals in the next campaign, there may be limited opportunities in the side for some of United’s aspiring young talent.

Therefore, these TWO Manchester United wonderkids surely have no chance under Jose Mourinho…

Axel Tuanzebe

Axel Tuanzebe has only played one minute in the Premier League during the current campaign, as he’s currently playing his football at Championship club Aston Villa after being sent out on loan.

Indeed, the 20-year-old is arguably one of the most promising defenders in English football, but doesn’t seem to be making any headway under Jose Mourinho as a last resort in the side.

Therefore, it looks as if the defender will have no chance at Old Trafford under Jose Mourinho, as he currently finds himself near the bottom of the pecking order with another loan move looking likely next season.

Cameron Borthwick-Jackson

Cameron Borthwick-Jackson enjoyed his breakthrough season at Manchester United during the 2015-16 campaign, but has struggled to get a look in ever since after a number of loan moves to Football League clubs.

Indeed, the 21-year-old could arguably still have a future at United having shown he has what it takes to perform at the highest level, but his performances at loan clubs will put doubt in Mourinho’s mind.

Therefore, it looks as if the Englishman will struggle to make it into the Portuguese manager’s plans, as Luke Shaw and Ashley Young are both ahead of him in the pecking order.
