Ayoze Perez has had a season to forget in many respects after failing to produce any quality in the final third, with many of our local residents wanting to see the back of the Spaniard in the summer.

Indeed, the 24-year-old has struggled to produce a substantial amount of goals for the team thus far, as one of the underperforming strikers in the Magpies’ ranks.

Therefore, Perez has a lot to think about over the international break with huge improvements needed in order to help ensure Premier League safety.

Joselu

Joselu has turned out to be one of the worst signings in the club’s history since joining from Stoke City in the summer, as one of the main reasons behind Newcastle United’s torrid first season back in the top-flight.

Indeed, the 27-year-old has failed to make the most of his opportunities this campaign, which has now seen him lose out on a place in Benitez’s starting XI.

Therefore, the striker needs to get his act together over the international break to save his Newcastle United career, as a summer transfer window exit looks likely if he doesn’t show any improvements.
