Our Everton fans here in the Transfer Tavern are feeling quietly confident about their future at the moment.
Wind back to this time last year and the club were in a state of turmoil somewhat with results under Roberto Martinez not really up to scratch.
Now, though, with Ronald Koeman in charge things have taken a welcome turn for the better with the Dutchman putting plenty of faith in their young stars.
Indeed, whilst the likes of Ross Barkley and Romelu Lukaku are now household names in the Premier League we’ve also seen the emergence and progress of some of the club’s other notable starlets.
The future really does look as bright as it has for a while, then, and our landlord reckons that the following two players could be worth a lot of money in the coming seasons.
The next task, then, is to hold onto the pair of them…
Mason Holgate

Mason Holgate really does look like he could be a success at the back for Everton for some time to come.
He’s already shown this season he can more than hold his own in the Premier League and what sets him apart from other young defenders is that he’s done it at both full-back and centre-half. With Ashley Williams and Seamus Coleman around he’s got some great teachers, too, and so everything is in place for him to succeed.
Tom Davies

There’s always a handful of young stars that burst out of nowhere over the course of the season and Tom Davies is certainly a part of this year’s crop.
The midfielder is a local lad and already looks the real deal in Premier League circles with some of his performances really catching the eye. His goal against Manchester City was top drawer and there’s every chance he could go on to massive things in his career.
