The Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern are expecting a very busy January transfer window…
It was widely expected that with Arsenal likely to challenge for the title this season, the main focus of Arsene Wenger would be on incoming players – but that may well not be the case.
According to the Guardian, Liverpool are considering a January move for Arsenal winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain – with Jurgen Klopp seemingly keen on the English winger.
The move would come as a surprise, given the historic rivalry between the two clubs, but the Liverpool and Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern are in agreement that they could see the deal coming to fruition.
For better or worse, the Ox might not be the only player leaving the Emirates in January – with a number of clubs eyeing moves for some of Arsene Wenger’s men.
With that said, these two players could follow Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain out of Arsenal in January…
Carl Jenkinson

Carl Jenkinson has seemingly been at Arsenal for years now, but with no first team role in sight – a departure is beginning to look increasingly likely.
Arsenal are reportedly willing to let Jenkinson leave on a temporary deal in January, and whilst they undoubtedly have the hope of bringing him back eventually – a departure, in the long-term, looks more likely.
A temporary move in January is definitely on the cards, though, and the Arsenal fans in Transfer Tavern are all for that idea.
Kieran Gibbs

Another rotational defender, Kieran Gibbs could also be on the way out of the Emirates in January.
According to the Sun, Gibbs is being eyed up for a January move new Crystal Palace boss Sam Allardyce – with the ex-England boss keen to upgrade his defensive options.
With the defender’s contract expiring within a couple of years, he could be moved on sooner, rather than later – and Allardyce is likely to go all in on transfers in January as he looks to put off off the threat of relegation.
Gibbs will never be a regular starter at the Emirates, and so a deal makes sense.
