“This season’s been huge”: Leeds fans react after stunning 3-3 draw rubs salt in the wounds as play-off dreams end

There were absolute scenes at Elland Road today as Leeds United battled back from 3-0 down to grab a 3-3 draw which all-but ended their Championship play-off team this season.

The Whites fans here in the Tavern have been left reeling after the game, which saw them concede three poor goals in the first half to make things seriously tough-going in the second half.

And Fulham’s 1-1 draw with Brentford at Craven Cottage has made things almost impossible for Leeds to claw their way back into the play-offs, with the goal difference just too great to make up going forward.

The Fulham fans here in the pub are absolutely delighted with their side’s progression into the play-offs but as for Leeds United, it’s another season of disappointment in the Championship and another campaign of second-tier football to come.

And as you can expect, Leeds fans have been extremely vocal on social media after the game.
