While the season has only just finished, the Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern are already looking forward to the next one.
Jose Mourinho is fully expected – by our punters at least – to splash the cash over the next few months and one of the latest transfer lines to emanate out of Old Trafford certainly has fans talking.
Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic is reportedly keen on moving to Manchester this summer in order to link up with Mourinho once more. The Serbian is believed to have held preliminary talks with the Red Devils, who are said to have identified him as their top target in defensive midfield.
Though the 28-year-old is vastly experienced in the Premier League – winning it twice – it’s fair to say his potential arrival has proved slightly underwhelming for many United fans. With that in mind, here’s a closer look at how they reacted on Twitter.
