It was another very good day at the office for Jose Mourinho and Manchester United, who overcame a potentially tricky tie with Burnley at Turf Moor to take all three points this afternoon.
Red Devils fans here in the Tavern were delighted with the 2-0 away victory, which saw Mourinho heavily rotate his side after the win over Anderlecht in the Europa League in the week.
For Burnley, it’s a result that sees them pull that little bit further down the Premier League table but still far enough away for relegation to remain a distant memory this campaign.
And as you’d expect after another big Reds win, there was plenty of reaction online from United supporters, who were grateful to have taken another three points, especially considering Liverpool’s shock 2-1 loss to Crystal Palace later this afternoon.
