Manchester City are someway behind in the race to catch Chelsea in the Premier League this campaign, and their fans here in the Tavern want to see an improvement in results going forward!
Some inconsistent early season form means Antonio Conte’s Blues look increasingly likely to bring the title back to the Bridge at the end of the season, but with plenty of football still to play, City shouldn’t be giving up just yet.
They’ve got a tough run of fixtures on the horizon, including a tough Champions League tie against Monaco, and Pep Guardiola will be keen to see some real progress being made on the pitch as the season comes to a gradual end.
But with the summer edging ever closer, there’s certain players that the punters here in the pub think should be considering their futures for one reason or another.
So with that in mind, here’s TWO Manchester City stars whose careers are at a real crossroads…..
Kelechi Iheanacho

There’s little doubting that Manchester City youngster Kelechi Iheanacho has the talent to become a top player at this level.
He’s been superb when given the chance but is he ever going to oust Sergio Aguero as the main man for the Citizens?
The punters seem to think he’ll be the man when Aguero does eventually leave the club but at his age, Iheanacho can’t be waiting around for first-team minutes.
He needs to make a decision as to whether he’d rather be bench warming or playing regular first-team football.
Yaya Toure

It’s been an interesting season for Yaya Toure, who only started playing games after the furore with his agent and manager Pep Guardiola finally calmed down before Christmas.
But since then, the Ivorian has been a big part of the City side who have gradually begun to pick up form.
But it’s decision time at the end of the season for Toure, who might fancy a new challenge in the ambitious Chinese League or somewhere else afar.
It’s a trend we’re beginning to see more and more often these days and despite wanting him to stay, our punters here in the Tavern seem to think he could depart at the end of the campaign.
Only time will tell.
