West Ham United have had a season full of mixed fortune but with form looking a lot better under Slaven Bilic this side of Christmas, Hammers fans here in the Tavern appear a lot more optimistic going forward.
It’s been a tricky season for a side many hoped would excel in the top half of the division but in hindsight, West Ham have been beaten easily on far too many occasions.
They’ve struggled to adjust to life in their new stadium and some supporters here in the Tavern are still refusing to let go of Upton Park, and the memories that were created there.
But as with anything, things move on and Hammers fans need to look forward to the future if they are to find any success and so do their players.
But we think there are a number of West Ham stars in this current crop that need to have a real think about their futures going forward, and what they want out of their careers.
So with some help from the West Hams fans here in the pub, here’s TWO West Ham players whose careers are at a real crossroad…
Sam Byram

Former Leeds United star Sam Byram made the move to West Ham last year, and has been tipped as a future England international.
But he’s played only nine times in the Premier League this season and with Slaven Bilic even preferring to play Kouyate as a makeshift full-back of late, Byram’s hopes of becoming a top pro might be fading away because he’s not getting enough time on the pitch.
West Ham fans here in the pub think he’s a cracking talent who deserves more game-time but he might have to think about his future when May rolls round in a couple of months.
Adrian

In a move that has surprised both West Ham fans and neutrals alike, former Birmingham City goalkeeper Darren Randolph has been the preferred number one for sometime at the London Stadium this season.
The Irishman was behind the Spaniard in the pecking order last season but the two have since switched, and Adrian has watched on for long periods of the campaign.
He’s a quality goalkeeper who has more than enough quality to play at this level for another side or anywhere else in the world for that matter.
Could he be leaving this summer if he can’t break back in?
