Loads of Everton fans have been venting their frustrations on Twitter after Oumar Niasse rejected the chance to move to former side Lokomotiv Moscow, according to reports.
The 29-year-old’s former club, where he spent 18 months in Russia, are keen to re-sign him when his contract expires at Goodison Park at the end of the season. However, the Senegalese forward is not a fan of such a move and the Russian site Championat suggests that he would prefer to stay in England or play his football in Turkey.
Niasse has not been a popular figure on Merseyside due to his poor performances and has scored just nine goals and conjured up four assists in 42 appearances for the Toffees, touted as one of the club’s worst signings in their history. Many supporters were not impressed with his latest refusal and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan believed it was typical Everton that Niasse has refused to leave the club.
