The Newcastle United fans in the Transfer Tavern were left disappointed after watching their side lose 1-0 to Brighton and Hove Albion.
The Magpies fell to a Tomer Hemed goal and narrowly were defeated, ending their winning run.
Hemed scored a close range goal early in the second half to earn all three points for the Seagulls.
Newcastle piled plenty of pressure on the Brighton goal towards the latter stages of the game but Chris Hughton’s side remained solid and resolute, keeping the Newcastle attack at bay.
Defeat leaves Newcastle United 9th in the Premier League.
Newcastle United supporters took to social media to air their views and many fans were disgruntled with their lacklustre and “toothless” display.
Our landlord thinks that this was a one-off performance and that Newcastle should improve in later games.
