There’s an abundance of fans in the Football Transfer Tavern tonight all enjoying their Saturday evening supping on the rumours out there.
The latest tipple on offer is the Daily Express‘ rumour that a a trio of Premier League clubs are chasing Blackpool’s Tom Ince.
It had looked like the son of Paul Ince would be following in his father’s footsteps by moving to Serie A.
But a move to Inter Milan fell through after the Blackpool youngster decided he was only interested in a move to a Premier League club.
Ince can move to a European club for free but any club in England could have to pay up to £5 million to Blackpool in compensation.
And it now looks as though he’ll have Tottenham, Everton and Newcastle United to choose from in his quest for Premier League football.
The England Under-21 international spent the second half of last season on loan at Crystal Palace but it’s understood that the Eagles are not interested in signing him on a permanent deal.
Tottenham, Everton and Newcastle fans. What are your opinions on Tom Ince and is he worth a potential £5 million transfer fee? Let us know your thoughts below?
