Tottenham Hotspur fans are still on the high of beating Manchester United 3-0 away on Monday night and now they’ve been hit with the news that today is the six-year anniversary of Mousa Dembele being at the club. The Belgian has been a key man in Mauricio Pochettino’s side and it will be a sad day for the fans when he leaves.

Dembele joined the club from Fulham in a joint deal that also saw Clint Dempsey join the club. The Belgian, though, has shown to be more than value for money as he’s proven to be an amazing servant to the club, making over 230 appearances in his six seasons in North London. He’s also proven to be a key figure for his national team in that time too, as he’s racked up 80 caps.
Now, though, the 31-year-old looks to be coming to the end of his prime years and after the Lilywhites survived a scare over the summer when rumours surfaced that he could be moving away from the club. Pochettino and co look to have stood firm and now it seems the possibility of him leave is very slim until at least next summer. The midfielder has become a real fan favourite at the club and with his fantastic displays continuing into this season the fans will be keen to see more.
