A lot of Spurs fans have been waiting and waiting for their club to sign a player this summer, however, it doesn’t look like they’ll have to wait quite as long as they did last summer. According to Football.london, the club are set to wrap up a deal for Jack Grealish before the club travel to the USA for their pre-season tour on 23rd July.

Last summer saw frustrated Spurs fans waiting until well into August before they secured their first signing of the summer, however, the club then went on to sign five players last summer and eventually pleased the fans with their business. This summer could follow a similar mould, especially seeing as the window closes earlier this time around and the club has much less time to start getting deals done.
If Jack Grealish does sign, Tottenham will have a new outlet to deploy in games. The 22-year-old Birmingham born attacking midfielder has developed a reputation for Beating his man on and having great end product. The Villa man would provide something that Tottenham simply don’t have and his ability to break down a deep block by isolating a man one-on-one will come in handy when the Lilywhites get stuck facing a side sitting deep against them this season.
