Tottenham Hotspur fans never seem to enjoy the transfer window. The Lilywhites would love nothing more than to see a few new faces come through the door this month, but they have little hope of that happening. However, The Daily Mirror has claimed they’re set to test Hull’s resolve with a £12 million bid for 22-year-old Jarrod Bowen.

The young attacker has been the man at the heart of Hull City’s recent spectacular form in the Championship. The youngster has scored 13 goals and assisted a further three in his 27 Championship outings this season, and with nine of those coming in his last eight games as Hull have become one of the form teams in Europe, it’s not hard to see what Mauricio Pochettino sees in Bowen.
For a price of just £12 million, it’s hard to see why the fans would be against a move for the youngster. His versatility means that he can be deployed both as a right-winger and as a central striker, and he’d provide excellent cover in the Tottenham squad for the likes of Son Heung-Min, Harry Kane and Lucas Moura. As far as the fans are concerned this one is a low-risk option, and they’d love to see it happen.

Sensible move. Suits the profile of player Poch likes to work with. Young, dynamic, flexible & home grown.

The fans would love to see Bowen brought in before the end of the month, and it’s hard to see any negatives in this potential transfer.
