Tottenham fans take to Twitter to call for their club to sign Hull’s Jarrod Bowen

Seeing as Tottenham Hotspur struck gold when they signed Dele Alli back in January 2015, a lot of Tottenham fans would love to see a similar move for another young English player in the football league in the form of Jarrod Bowen. The Daily Mirror claims that Tottenham are scouting the Hull City man, and it’s a move that the fans all seem to want.

The same Mirror Online article that mentions the Lilywhites interest all claims that the 22-year-old winger with ten Championship goals to his name this season, including both of the goals in a 2-0 win at Elland Road on Saturday, will not be leaving the KCOM Stadium on the cheap, and with a supposed value of £10 million according to the article, it could be one Daniel Levy has to fight for.

When looking ahead to the January window, the Lilywhites need to be realistic. The chances are their club will be forced to look for young English players throughout the EFL to fill their homegrown quota, and considering their current squad, the chances are they’ll need to offload one of their foreign stars to make space for a signing from abroad in their Champions League and Premier League squad for registration purposes, making a deal for someone like Bowen the most likely option.

Whilst Bowen may not be the biggest name out there, he’s a man who the Lilywhites are desperate to see snapped up in January.
