Plenty of Tottenham Hotspur fans were left extremely impressed with the performance of Japhet Tanganga in their 2-0 victory against Manchester City on Sunday.
The 20-year-old was making only his third Premier League appearance in his career (Transfermarkt), but once again produced an extremely accomplished display which can be backed up by looking at the statistics.
Indeed, during the 90 minutes, Tanganga made four clearances, four tackles and three interceptions, won six of his nine ground duels, won all three of his aerial duels and blocked one shot as he helped Spurs keep a clean sheet(via SofaScore). Added to that, he was also playing at left-back which shows that he is very versatile having also played at right-back and centre-back this term (Transfermarkt).

Having also produced a quality display against Liverpool for which he received a SofaScore rating of 7.4, he is certainly showing that he has a lot of potential.
