Plenty of Tottenham Hotspur fans are getting behind Jan Vertonghen ahead of the club’s crunch Champions League fixture against Bayern Munich.

The Belgian defender put out a post on Twitter saying: “Can’t wait for tomorrow.” (Source: Twitter)
Vertonghen has endured a mixed start to the season with the north London giants, missing the opening three league games of the season (via Transfermarkt).
Earlier in the season, Vertonghen’s future was up in the air with reports from Football Insider suggesting Mauricio Pochettino was uncertain over whether to offer the 32-year-old a new contract, with his current deal set to expire next summer.
However, the Belgium international has seemingly won back his place in the first team, starting the last five games in the Premier League and Champions League.
Fans took to Twitter as they decided to send messages of support for their defender ahead of their clash with the German champions tonight.
