Tottenham Hotspur are monitoring centre-back Ben White ahead of a potential move for the player, that is according to a report from Sky Sports.
The defender is contracted to Brighton & Hove Albion, but is currently spending the 2019/20 campaign on loan at Leeds United in the Championship.
It is thought that there is no break clause in his loan deal with the Whites, so if Spurs were to buy him from Brighton it is likely that they would have to agree to loan him straight to Leeds for the remainder of the campaign.
So far he has impressed for the West Yorkshire outfit, starting all 26 of their league fixtures and helping them to 12 clean sheets (Transfermarkt).
Added to that he is also averaging an impressive 3.6 clearances per game, as well as 2.6 interceptions and 1.8 tackles per match too (SofaScore).
If Spurs were to sign White then it seems that the fans would be happy, with many taking to Twitter to suggest the 22-year-old would be a positive addition.
