Clubs from England and abroad are interested in signing Tottenham Hotspur centre-back Cameron Carter-Vickers before the transfer deadline, that is according to a report from TEAMtalk.
The 11-time USA international spent the first half of the current campaign on loan at Championship outfit Stoke City, but he was recalled by Spurs (BBC Sport) after losing his place in the Potters line-up and not playing a single minute for them in the festive period (Transfermarkt).
It is suggested that Tottenham will look to once again loan out the 22-year-old for the second half of the season, as he is still not part of Jose Mourinho’s plans. Indeed, Derby County, Huddersfield Town and Middlesbrough thought to be interested as well as clubs from overseas, although the player himself would favour staying in England.
However, it seems that most Spurs fans think that, instead of allowing Carter-Vickers to move on loan for a fifth time, they should just let him go on a permanent deal. In fact, those below seemingly don’t think that he is ever going to be good enough for the first team and have urged the club to just sell him in this window.
Here is what some had to say on Twitter…
Never going to be good enough sadly, just sell!

Levy is loving the loans!! Just sell him, get some funds. If he was good enough, he’d be playing for us.
