Tottenham Hotspur and sporting director Fabio Paratici are now also eyeing a move for Newcastle United star Allan Saint-Maximin this summer, according to reports.

The Lowdown: Paratici moving...

The Lilywhites and Paratici have certainly been kept busy this window as Spurs supporters witness their arguable most hectic summer in quite some time.

After manager Antonio Conte sealed Champions League football at the back end of last campaign, the Italian has been well and truly backed with the acquisitions of Ivan Perisic, Fraser Forster, Yves Bissouma, Richarlison, Clement Lenglet (loan) and Djed Spence.

There is also still over a month of this transfer market remaining with links emerging to the likes of Roma star Nicolo Zaniolo among others.

The Latest: Spurs eyeing Saint-Maximin...

Now, according to reports, Magpies star Saint-Maximin is on the radar of Paratici at Tottenham with there being no sign of slowing down for the north Londoners.

Journalist Scott Wilson of The Northern Echo claims that the Frenchman is of 'mounting interest' to Conte and co as Newcastle could soon be faced with a major decision.

He explained (via Twitter):

"#NUFC could find themselves with a decision to make over Allan Saint-Maximin this summer - amid mounting interest from both Chelsea and Spurs..."

The Verdict: Get it done...

The 25-year-old attacker dazzled under coach Eddie Howe last season, completing a phenomenal 4.3 dribbles per 90 over 21/22 whilst making Newcastle's second-highest rate of key passes per 90 (WhoScored).

Pundits like Noel Whelan have branded Saint-Maximin 'pivotal' for the St. James' Park side and an 'exciting' player - with ex-Spurs goalkeeper Paul Robinson weighing in and calling the winger 'perfect' for Conte.

While it remains to be seen whether Newcastle would part with their Premier League star so easily, there is little doubt he would be a world class addition at N17.
