Looking to strengthen his options up front, Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers stuck with his philosophy of bringing in young and talented players when he added Odsonne Edouard to his squad last summer.
Edouard, a very promising No.9 playing his football in France, arrived from Paris Saint-Germain in a deal that did not exactly leave Celtic supporters jumping for joy.

With the likes Moussa Dembele and Scott Sinclair both coming off prolific seasons in front of goal, fans were more concerned with other areas of the squad they felt needed some fine-tuning.
In the end, though, the signing of Edouard proved to be an important one for the club, especially with Dembele no longer at Celtic Park following his deadline-day move to Lyon.
During his first campaign in Scotland, Edouard scored nine goals in 22 SPL appearances while this term he has already found the back of the net on seven occasions.
With that in mind, the 20-year-old is well on course to reaching double figures in the league this time round, though goals are not the only thing he has brought to this Celtic team.
Up front, his strength and pace can cause all sorts of problems for opposition defenders on the day, making him an all-round dangerous forward to have.
Edouard has since joined Celtic permanently after doing enough last season to convince the club he can offer much to the team going forward, and the Frenchman is already starting to deliver on that based on his performances this campaign.
