After a terrible season last year, Darren Moore has completely transformed the side and turned West Brom into a promotion contender. Similarly, Swansea had a terrible season last year and new coach, Graham Potter has done well to turn the Swans into a more competitive side this year.
Both clubs have two solid strikers in Oli McBurnie and Dwight Gayle. The two strikers have been two of the best in the league this year and are crucial to their side’s success.
Oli McBurnie

Signed from Bradford City in 2015, McBurnie has been installed as Graham Potter’s starting striker this season and has been vital for Swansea.
This year, he’s scored eight goals in the league and despite Swansea slipping down the table, the forward has performed well. Surprisingly quick, McBurnie can play on the wing and is also adept at bringing in players into the game as well as scoring goals.
The forward was brilliant in the Premier League 2 for the first-half of last season and also did well while on loan with Barnsley as he scored nine goals in 17 games.
He’ll need to prove his consistency over the season to be considered one of the best in the league but if he continues his performances, Swansea may have just found their leading striker for the future.
TT Grade: B-
Dwight Gayle

West Brom look like a completely different side this season under Darren Moore and have become one of the best-attacking teams in the league.
Thanks to Harvey Barnes, Jay Rodriguez and Dwight Gayle, West Brom look like a side that could well gain automatic promotion this year.
This season, Gayle has scored nine goals in the league this season and has been in scintillating form for the Baggies. At 28, he’s now in his prime and the quick striker could well get to the 20-goal mark this season.
He might not be a Premier League standard goalscorer but for West Brom, he’s essential and the loan move seems to have been a solid piece of business from West Brom.
TT Grade: B

The Verdict
McBurnie is a solid talent and a player that looks like he could be the Swans future striker. His link-up play is good but he needs to perform over the whole season to be considered better than Gayle.
Gayle is a prolific scorer at Championship level and as such, he wins this one easily. With him in the side, West Brom could well gain promotion this season.
