Manchester United take on Tottenham Hotspur in one of the biggest games of the season so far on Monday night. Yesterday, Jose Mourinho faced the media and was speaking about the fitness of Nemanja Matic, Antonio Valencia and Alexis Sanchez, who could all be fit for the game, although the Portuguese tactician claimed that there are decisions to be made.
Jose on @NemanjaMatic, @Anto_V25 and @Alexis_Sanchez: "There are decisions to be made, but they are training with the team. Dalot is also with the team this week, so in terms of the medical department, they are almost free." #MUFC pic.twitter.com/BdQRMGKvBe

There’s no doubting the fact that United look a whole lot better when they’ve got Valencia, Matic and Sanchez fit and if they can all feature against Tottenham then the Lillywhites will be up against it at Old Trafford. The main thing for United will be to bounce back quickly after their defeat at the hands of Brighton on Sunday. The club suffered in that game and found themselves 3-1 down at half-time, something they’ll have to avoid against Spurs.
Tottenham are one of six sides to have won their opening two games in the Premier League and they could be in for a real struggle to maintain that 100% record when they travel to Manchester. Playing on Monday is never ideal and the Old Trafford faithful will be watching on as every other side plays before they get an opportunity to take to the pitch with the aim to get back on track against Mauricio Pochettino’s Spurs, and having their injured trio back fit will be a huge boost.

Start the three of them and we good for Monday.

Yes, let's get Sanchez and Valencia in the game. Matic may not be ready but he will be welcomed back asap! What a rock he is in midfield.

The fans are desperate to get their injured stars back to fitness and back out on the pitch and they could need them against Spurs on Monday.
