Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern are expecting significant improvements to their squad this summer as they eye a fight-back from what has been a largely disappointing campaign.
Whilst the Gunners can still secure a top-four finish and win the FA Cup, Arsenal have underperformed this season and it’s identified the need for a wealth of changes- especially with the futures of star-players remaining in doubt.
One area of the squad where many fans want to see improvements is in attack, as they’re demanding the addition of a top-class striker that can fire the Gunners to glory- something Arsene Wenger’s side have lacked since selling Robin Van Persie to Manchester United.
Many names have been linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium but a new rumour circulating suggests that Arsenal are interested in AC Milan’s Colombian forward Carlos Bacca- and it’s left fans on social media less than impressed.
Whilst our landlord feels Bacca is a capable striker, he believes he’d be a squad player at best at Arsenal and that the club should be eyeing more established targets.
