Tobight will see Aston Villa make the trip south to London as they take on QPR in the first Championship clash of the weekend. The Villains will be keen to see their side bounce back after losing to Norwich in the week and with the returning John McGinn, they should be able to do that.

Since signing from Hibs in the summer, John McGinn has shown that he’s more than capable of bossing the Championship, as well as the Scottish Premier League. The Scottish midfielder is undoubtedly one of Villa’s best players and when he was absent for the game at Norwich through suspension it was clear as anything that The Villains missed his work rate and huge presence in the middle of the park.
With QPR on a good run of form, Dean Smith’s side will have to be well drilled and well organised in defence and sharp in attack if they are to get anything from the clash. However, when they’ve got the 24-year-old dynamo in midfield getting both up and down to help his side at both ends, the players around him are able to be more creative and do more to help the side.
