Many Aston Villa fans have reacted to an update from German club Werder Bremen over the future of winger Milot Rashica.
Dean Smith’s side fought off relegation from the Premier League last month with a final day draw against West Ham United and they will hope to avoid dicing with the drop so dangerously next season.
With the summer transfer window open, Smith could look to improve his squad options, in particular up front where the likes of Keinan Davis, Mbwana Samatta and Wesley all struggled to find consistency in front of goal.
Links to a number of striker options have emerged, with Brentford striker Ollie Watkins emerging as a potential arrival, whilst a link to Rashica has been maintained. The 24-year-old netted eight goals and supplied seven assists in 28 Bundesliga games for Werder Bremen last season and has a current Transfermarkt value of £19.8m.
With interest developing from Villa, Weser Kurier have now claimed that Rashica has his heart set on a move to RB Leipzig, with a desire on testing his ability in the Champions League.
Reacting to this update via Twitter account Aston Villa News, these Villa fans fans gave their opinion on the winger’s potential arrival.
If he really doesn’t want us then wish him luck and find someone who does 🤷🏼♂️

If a player isn’t committed to joining a club ie villa are not his 1st choice then we should move on to another number 1 target plenty of talent out there who would love to wear the villa colours.

Sign him. Put a clause in his contract, which allows him to join a CL side if they pay a certain amount of money. Everyone wins. If he helps Villa push on for a season or two, will help Villa attract better players in the long run. Everyone wins

Move on from him if he doesn’t want to join.. and we can’t waste time and/or alternative options waiting IMHO.
