With Celtic fans in the Transfer Tavern hugely excited about a return to the Champions League on Tuesday night, many of them are in raucous debate.
Indeed, with Brendan Rodgers presumably aiming to set-up relatively defensively, the Bhoys in the bar are wondering who’ll be handed the more creative duties against Paris Saint-Germain.
The Hoops to avoid another early spanking in order to make this group work. With Bayern Munich also in the mix, a repeat of last year’s opener with Barcelona simply must be avoided.
Granted, the green and white cause made a far greater impression against the likes of Manchester City last year, though their early loss to the Blaugrana made life oh so difficult.
With that in mind, only one out and out creative midfielder should be selected to start.
Rodgers certainly has options in that regard. The likes of Callum McGregor, Stuart Armstrong and Tom Rogic can all do a job there and, while all three can be deployed in certain games, surely the task hand means only one can operate behind the central striker.
The punters in our bar seem to back Rogic for the task, despite the heroics of the other two at varying points during Rodgers’ reign.
The Australian boasts the physicality to leave his mark on PSG’s defence, as well as the work-rate to track back, but who are you backing?
