Man Utd fans want the club to sign some new players this summer

Plenty of Man Utd fans on Twitter are calling for their side to make more of an impact in the summer transfer window. The Red Devils have been busy so far, having signed Lee Grant, Fred and Diogo Dalot – but it’s fair to say that fans are expecting more. Of course, they fell well short of Man City last term, and given that they’ve recently signed Riyad Mahrez, Utd are definitely playing catch-up.

Whilst transfers haven’t been as regular as most would have hoped, that doesn’t mean that they haven’t been busy.

Indeed, new contracts have been on the mind of Man Utd, it seems, and they confirmed an extension for a talented young Red Devil on Wednesday. As confirmed over on the official Man Utd website, and as shared on the official Man Utd Twitter, under-23 midfielder Ethan Hamiton has agreed fresh terms at the club.

Hamilton is a hard-working central midfielder that is able to defend and attack in equal measure. He’s some way off earning a regular spot at Old Trafford, but at 19-years-old, his potential is limitless.

Plenty of Man Utd fans have responded to the news over on Twitter, and whilst they’re happy, most are demanding something else. Indeed, they want the club to focus less on renewing contracts and more on bringing new faces in. New deals are wanted for a few key players like David De Gea and Anthony Martial, but most are hoping for big-name deals for the likes of Gareth Bale and Alex Sandro.
