Having fallen a whopping TWENTY-FIVE points behind bitter rivals Celtic following a 4-1 thumping at the hands of Hearts last night, the Rangers fans in the Transfer Tavern are furious. 

While many of the Gers propping up the bar did understand the fact there was always likely to be somewhat of a gap between they and the Bhoys, the sheer size of it is a major cause of depression amongst the drinkers in the bar, who are not hopeful of catching up any time soon.

Though Mark Warburton is constructing a rebuild at Ibrox, a long-term one at that, surely he needs to change things up soon. Perhaps it would be too ridiculous a notion to hope of reigning the Hoops in right away, though Rangers’ fan base are not exactly going to sit and wait for something to happen for much longer.

With that in mind, here are TWO things Warburton must address immediately.

Not getting on the front foot

Under Warburton’s stead, Rangers haven’t won at Tynecastle, Celtic Park, Pittodrie or Easter Road. Too often, the Gers have been reactive rather than proactive in big games, often giving themselves far too much to do if they are going to grind out a result.

If things are going to change, they must improve in big games.

Final ball

The loss to Hearts has been coming. During their last league outing, the Gers just managed to get past Motherwell, though made life extremely difficult for themselves. While they do get into good positions, their lack of end product fails to truly capitalise on the situations their hard work gets themselves into.
