Southampton has been a good hunting ground for Liverpool in recent years.
Sadio Mane, Dejan Lovren, Adam Lallana and Virgil van Dijk all came from the south-coast outfit, whilst Ricky Lambert also made the switch from St. Mary’s Stadium to Anfield. Those transfers appear to have helped the Reds – they are currently the European champions and are 25 points clear at the top of the Premier League.

According to The Liverpool Echo, they should make a move for James Ward-Prowse as he is a similar kind of player to Trent Alexander-Arnold. Josh Williams, of the Analysing Anfield podcast, also believes he would be a good addition to Jurgen Klopp’s squad. Currently valued at £13.05m by Transfermarkt, he would not break the bank either.
