One of the strangest stories of the week came this morning when a report emerged that suggests that Jose Mourinho wanted to punch Arsene Wenger after their famous spat during the Portuguese manager’s spell with Chelsea.
In the words of Rob Beasley, following Mourinho’s spat with Wenger over Juan Mata, Mourinho reportedly said: “I will find him one day outside a football pitch and I will break his face”.
A very strange story – and now Arsene Wenger has had his say on the reports.

Our landlord isn’t too sure that the Frenchman is particularly concerned about Mourinho’s threats – he’s more concerned with finishing above the Portuguese boss in the Premier League table…
Conversely to United, Arsenal have had a relatively impressive start to the Premier League season – and currently sit in 4th, 3 places ahead of their rivals.
