Our Chelsea fans here in the Transfer Tavern are looking forward to playing West Ham tonight as they aim to restore their lead at the top of the Premier League table.
The Blues have been flying this season and look well on course to lift the trophy come May.
But, after seeing Spurs and Man City win over the weekend Antonio Conte’s men know that three points is still a must against the Hammers.
Summer is going to be crucial, too, for longer term success and according to The Daily Star, the Blues are looking at getting Kalidou Koulibaly in to bolster their defensive options.
With John Terry getting on the Blues could arguably do with some extra players at the back with their current three centre-halves – Gary Cahill, Cesar Azpilicueta and David Luiz their only other senior options.
They do have some good young talent that our local Blues here in the Transfer Tavern are excited about, though, and that has caused many to actually not want the powerful defender.
