The Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern have expressed their disappointment after Paul Pogba was ruled out of the derby clash against Manchester City.
In yesterday’s 3-1 victory over Arsenal at The Emirates Stadium, Paul Pogba was shown a straight red card for a challenge on Hector Bellerin.
With the score already at 3-1, Manchester United had to play the remaining sixteen minutes with ten men but the main punishment will be felt in the next few games.
Manchester United will have to make do without Paul Pogba for their next three domestic fixtures as a straight red card warrants a three match ban.
The France international will be available for the midweek clash against CSKA Moscow in the Champions League but will then have to sit out against Manchester City at Old Trafford next week in a highly anticipated clash between two local rivals competing for the Premier League title.
Pogba will then miss games at home to Bournemouth and away at West Brom before returning for the cup clash against Bristol City.
