The Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern spent last night drowning their sorrows after a pretty dismal performance from their side in the Europa League. Unable to break down the German side throughout the night, they eventually lost the game in pretty embarrassing fashion.
It marks a stark contrast to how the Emirates faithful were feeling a few days ago, when they were celebrating their side’s victory over Tottenham in the North London derby. On that occasion, it was a simply remarkable performance from the Gunners, but a very different side turned up on Thursday night.
In fact, it’s very clear that whatever experiments Arsene Wenger was trialling in Europe did not work, and so some big changes will be needed on Saturday as they look to return to winning ways. Expect a few of Arsenal’s disappointing players to return to the bench.
With that said, Wenger needs to drop these 2 Arsenal players against Burnley if he wants to repeat derby heroics – agreed?

Olivier Giroud
Olivier Giroud returned to the side against FC Köln, and it didn’t go too well for him.
He was unable to break down the German side, and in the end, that is what hurt Arsene Wenger’s men.
Alexandre Lacazette has had a good season so far, and so Giroud will likely be back on the bench come Saturday. He’ll need to get back to scoring regularly if he really wants to become a first teamer on a weekly basis.
His chance will come eventually, but it is unlikely this weekend.
David Ospina
David Ospina wasn’t able to prevent FC Köln from scoring on what was an otherwise uneventful night for the goalkeeper.
He’s settled into the role of a backup for the Gunners, and unfortunately for him, that is unlikely to change anytime soon.
A decent option when called upon, the reality for Ospina is that a Premier League start is only likely to come if Petr Cech is ever unavailable. The veteran is available this weekend, and so the Columbian is likely to take a back seat once more.
